15th Day of Soncek
Dusan's Moment 

At the 15th Day of Soncek, the

"DUSAN'S MOMEMNT" performance,

will take place for the fifth year in a row, in the memory of an exceptional person who is no longer with us,

an Olympic gymnast from Nova Gorica, Dusan Furlan,

who was also

a great friend of the SC Soncek.

For those who didn't know Dusan, let us mention that Dusan was a very happy

person with a great sense of humour. He always came up with a new joke to tell.

He always carried around his accordion and played at many sports events, also

at the Days of Soncek. He was a veterinarian and a great nature and sports

lover. After he stopped competing, he "poisoned" with gymnastics his son

Samo and many other young people in Gorisko. Long after his retirement, he

still passed on his great knowledge of gymnastics to the young generation. 

There are still many nice things we could say about him ...

First three year, the "Dusan's moment" performance at the event was carried out by the members of the Slovenian gymnastics team, whereas this year, the young gymnasts from Rence will show us their skills in the memory of Dusan.
